While again, there’s nothing wrong with the web store providing links to great webapps (as it makes it easier for users to seek them out), there are a few features in ’s latest new tab page that deserve mention (and your use of the web store. All it takes is a right-click on any of your new apps to uncover them. On any operating system, right-clicking on an app gives you the option to open it in a fashion other than the default—that is, you can set it to always open as a pinned tap (useful for something like Gmail), or always open in full screen (useful for something like distraction-free writing app Write Space).
